Fragments of Belonging

This piece captures the moment when belonging breaks. A woman, still and cracked, watches as parts of her body detach in two directions: some ascend toward the fading city, others drift into the unknown.

Warm light touches her face, but does not stop the dispersion. The city, once a home, also dissolves.

“Fragments of Belonging” is a visual metaphor for emotional uprooting —for what leaves while still remaining, for the quiet beauty of watching oneself depart without moving.

What once was home now disperses with me.
